The Tax Foundation issued a study comparing the U.S. Tax Code with the rest of the world in their International Tax Competitiveness Index.
Since 2014 the Tax Foundation has done this study and found the U.S. was ranked 28th out of 36 countries then improved to 20th position after the tax code changes of 2017.
The Tax Foundation shows that under proposed Democratic tax changes the U.S. would drop to 30th place due mainly to increasing taxes on corporations, raising the individual top tax bracket on capital gains and dividends.
Now is the time to review and plan how your investments will fair under various U.S. leadership and make changes as necessary.
