In addition to the quarterly interest we pay on SaverNotes notes we also once a year pay 10% of the profit of SaverNotes to investors as additional interest. It took us a little longer as taxes were completed and filed October 15, 2020 for 2019.
We are happy to report that investors of record for any part of 2019 will receive .39% prorated to the number of days they were invested in the year as additional interest. For example, an investor with $2,000 invested for the entire 2019 year will receive an additional $7.80 of interest. If that investor had a two year note earning 3.00% they would have received $60.00 of regular interest for 2019 plus this $7.80 for a total of $67.80 on their investment.
The ACH transfer notice just went in so you should expect a deposit from Choice Bank (formerly Venture Bank) into your account on Monday, October 19, 2020.
